Numerous Manchester United loanees have enjoyed a new lease on life away from Old Trafford this season.
United loanees flying
Marcus Rashford has scored three goals and provided a plethora of assists for Catalan giants FC Barcelona.
Rasmus Hojlund has also found the net four times since joining Italian champions SSC Napoli, including a brace in the Champions League.
Even Andre Onana has had positive moments for Trabzonspor in the Turkish league.
Nonetheless, Jadon Sancho has so far been unable to fire for Villa on loan.
Sancho stuttering
The 25-year-old has not played since Villa’s 1-0 win over Bologna in the Europa League on the 25th September.
There has been an update on the player’s lack of involvement in the first team lately though.
The Daily Mail report that “Jadon Sancho is set to resume full training with Aston Villa ahead of their trip to Tottenham after the international break as he tries to kickstart his career at the club.”
The Englishman has only been on the pitch for a paltry eight minutes of Aston Villa’s Premier League campaign.
He had been working separately from the rest of the first team lately though as he recovered from an illness.
Last chance
With his contract ending this summer, Sancho is extremely unlikely to play for Man United again.
Nonetheless, his loan spell at Villa Park is likely to be imperative to the type of move he can secure in the near future.
The winger will likely next be in action for the Villans when they travel to face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 19th October.
