Loan pair returnWednesday 14 January 2026 15:00Two Manchester United youngsters have returned to Carrington, after being recalled from their loan spells.Joe Hugill and Habeeb Ogunneye are back in the fold, following their time away this season. Hugill joined Barnet in July, the fifth loan stint of his career, and played for the Bees in League Two and the Carabao Cup.Habeeb Ogunneye, trying here to block a cross, is back after a loan spell at Newport County.The 22-year-old made his most recent appearance for the Londoners in the New Year’s Day win over Crawley Town. The centre-forward signed for the Reds from Sunderland in 2020, and performed well for the first team in pre-season friendlies.Ogunneye linked up with Newport County during the close season, initially playing under former United Academy coach Dave Hughes. After making his EFL bow against Crawley, the full-back scored his first senior goal in a game against Milton Keynes Dons.
