New Manchester United signing Kit Margetson has been forced to wait a bit longer for his club debut after a setback, a new report has outlined.

Earlier this week, United confirmed the signing of Margetson from Swansea City.
United’s goalkeeping department is undergoing somewhat of an overhaul this summer. Andre Onana has returned to Trabzonspor on another season-long loan after it became clear there was no place for him at Old Trafford, with Senne Lammens established as the undisputed starter.
Elyh Harrison recently moved to Greenock Morton on loan.
Radek Vitek and Altay Bayindir are also expected to leave, with both players recently casting doubts on their respective futures.
United have signed Karl Darlow following the expiry of his Leeds United contract. Darlow is expected to assume the role of Lammens’ primary back-up, while also offering competition to the Belgium international.
Tom Heaton and Dermot Mee both signed contract extensions, ensuring United remain well-stocked between the sticks.
United agreed a compensation package for Margetson, who is the son of former England goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson.
The young shot-stopper cemented his position as Wales under-21s’ first choice after a superb season on loan in the Cymru Premier. He had been with Swansea since joining the Under-15s but he never made a senior appearance for the side.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Margetson is dealing with an injury, which means he will not slot into action immediately.
The news outlet reports, “Margetson will have to wait to make his academy debut, though. He has signed for the club with a minor knee injury and is expected to return to fitness around September.”
“United owe Swansea a compensation fee for his development, but the club recognised an opportunity to sign him on a free transfer.”
Meanwhile, United return to pre-season action on Saturday when they face La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
