Striker Joe Hugill has joined League Two club Barnet on loan for the 2025/26 season.
This is the Sunderland-born forward’s fifth loan move, having previously had spells with Altrincham, Burton Albion, Wigan Athletic and Carlisle United.
The 21-year-old has also featured for United’s first team in friendly fixtures over recent seasons, netting for the Reds in last summer’s victory over Rangers at Murrayfield.
Hugill’s new club, Barnet, were National League champions in 2024/25, securing promotion back to League Two after a seven-year absence from the Football League.
