Manchester United have reportedly made a big decision regarding their involvement in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The Portuguese coach also pointed out that United are in line to lose Amad, Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui for the duration of the Africa Cup of Nations, hence the need to offset their absences by recruiting. However, Sky Sports report that United have no plans to be active in January. United make huge transfer decision The news outlet claims, “Manchester United are not expected to bring in any incomings in the January transfer window as things stand, despite losing players to the Africa Cup of Nations.” “The club could move in January if a player becomes available – such as a target they are aiming for in a future window – however they are not expected to make a reactive signing based on three players going to AFCON, or the recent injury to striker Benjamin Sesko.” Sky confirm that United are indeed keen on bringing in a midfielder in the summer.
