However, I am determined to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. This is a setback I haven’t faced before, but I’m in a good mindset with good people around me to come back stronger.”How Amass has fared in his senior career thus far(Photo by Jess Hornby/Getty Images)Prior to joining Norwich, the 18-year-old had spent five months on loan with Sheffield Wednesday, where he racked up an impressive 21 Championship starts and 1,868 minutes of first-team action for the South Yorkshire outfit. However, United opted to recall him from his spell at the turn of the year in order for Amass to test himself in a less stressful environment; Wednesday’s widely-documented financial woes saw them hit with another point deduction (six) in December after initially having 12 deducted in October, when they filed for administration. As a result, the full-back swapped Hillsborough for Carrow Road, with Norwich sitting 19th-placed in the division after 30 matches.Amass has made seven senior appearances for United and is contracted to the Red Devils until June 2027. He is one up-and-coming star who’s expected to have a bright future at Old Trafford.
