Manchester United Women are back in UEFA Women’s Champions League action on Thursday, as we face Norwegian side Brann.

Marc Skinner’s side are potentially just two games away from a place in the group stages for the first time in our history.

But with a two-legged tie against the much-respected Norwegian outfit to come, the first to be played this week, excitement is high as to what can be achieved.

Scroll down for further details, with full coverage available on MUTV from Bergen…

HOW TO WATCH AND FOLLOWThursday’s third-round Champions League qualifier will be shown live on MUTV for subscribers, kick-off is slated for 18:00 BST.

Please note the coverage will not be available for those in Norway, as per local broadcasting restrictions.

Liam Bradford and Ben Thornley will provide live radio commentary across the encounter, with the game taking place at Brann Stadion in Norway.

Highlights, reaction and analysis will also be available throughout the evening on ManUtd.com and the United App.

TEAM NEWS

Reds boss Skinner is hoping Rachel Williams, Gabby George and Fridolina Rolfo will all return to action soon.

However, it seems certain that we will be without the services of Simi Awujo and Leah Galton for the flight to Scandinavia.

No fresh knocks appeared to be picked up in the victory over Leicester City.

WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT BRANN?Brann play their football in the Toppserien, the highest division of women’s football in Norway.

Last season, they finished second behind Valerenga, and therefore yielded qualification to the second stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League process.

So far, Leif Gunnar Smerud’s side have beaten Inter and Braga to reach this juncture, proving their capabilities.

They reached the group stages of the competition last year and even progressed further, by finishing in second place to Lyon.

Barcelona ended their run in the knockout stages.
