‘I REALLY DON’T FEEL THE WEIGHT’

Asked for his opinion of Old Trafford, while stood at pitchside with the floodlights on and history in the air, Ruben is clearly moved by our world-famous stadium. 

“You watch on TV and you know that it is big and it’s impressive,” he explains with a smile. “When you are here, you can feel it and I think you feel the history.

When told the Theatre of Dreams has a “weight to the place that does lift you up”, Ruben’s response is that of a man who is totally at ease in his new surroundings.  

“That’s really funny because I feel very relaxed,” he admits. 

“Maybe because it’s not gameday. When we have a game, I’m a different guy, but I really don’t feel the weight. I’m really excited and I’m quite relaxed, you know. 

“I think I am where I am supposed to be.”
