Goalscorer Dalot named top performer

Thursday 04 December 2025 23:17Diogo Dalot’s first Premier League goal at Old Trafford for Manchester United was enough to win him the Man of the Match vote, following our frustrating 1-1 home draw with West Ham United.Dalot swept home in the 58th minute, after Casemiro’s long-range effort was deflected into his path by Matheus Fernandes. It was the 10th goal scored by the Portuguese defender in his 223 appearances for the club, but the maiden top-flight one at our home ground.Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to secure all three points for Ruben Amorim’s men, as Soungoutou Magassa steered in with six minutes to go, after a Hammers corner had only been half cleared. It was a disappointing result to digest, especially after last week’s 1-0 home reverse to Everton, but we asked fans to name their standout player in the United App following the final whistle, as they usually do after a win or draw.Dalot topped the results, taking home 23 per cent of the votes cast, with his fellow Portugal international Bruno Fernandes second on 20 per cent.
