Manchester United’s Player of the Month for October can now be revealed, with Alejandro Garnacho topping our fan poll.
The 20-year-old has become the third player this season to claim the men’s trophy, emerging victorious ahead of team-mates Casemiro and Andre Onana who provided stiff competition.
It was another impressive month for Garna, scoring twice and registering an assist in six matches across all competitions.
The forward featured in all of our games during the month, starting five of them and coming on as a second-half substitute in the 3-3 draw at FC Porto.
The Argentinian’s effervescent display against Brentford was recognised by supporters, who named him our Man of the Match with 56 per cent of the vote.

His most notable contribution was netting the crucial equaliser early in the second half at Old Trafford, before the Reds went on to claim a 2-1 victory. The delightful goal has also been nominated for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award – there’s still time to vote here.
Our Academy graduate – who will be hoping to add to his seven Argentina caps in this month’s international break – was also a standout performer in the Reds’ midweek Carabao Cup success over Leicester City.
He set up Casemiro’s sublime long-range strike which opened the scoring before doubling the lead when smashing in from Diogo Dalot’s cross, on the way to the Reds’ 5-2 triumph in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first game as interim head coach.
This is the fourth occasion that Alejandro has claimed our monthly prize, as voted for by our global fanbase on ManUtd.com and in the United App.
The first time was back in November 2022 before he claimed back-to-back awards in November and December last season for a stellar period on a personal level – which included his staggering overhead kick against Everton, which unsurprisingly was chosen as our Goal of the Season.
It’s our no.17’s second club award of the current campaign, after winning Goal of the Month in August for his effort in the Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley.
