Fixture news: Two changes in October

Two of Manchester United’s Premier League fixtures in October have been selected for live TV coverage, resulting in respective changes to the scheduling.

Our much-anticipated match against Liverpool at Anfield was originally set for Saturday 18 October, but it has now been moved to Sunday 19 October for a 16:30 BST kick-off, live on Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, the kick-off time for United’s Old Trafford game against Brighton & Hove Albion has been amended, changing from 15:00 to 17:30 BST for the benefit of Sky Sports.  

CONFIRMED FIXTURES

The Premier League’s confirmation of the changes means we now have a finalised fixture list up to the end of October. It reads as follows…

Sun 24 Aug: Fulham (A), 16:30
Wed 27 Aug: Grimsby (A), 20:00 (Carabao Cup)
Sat 30 Aug: Burnley (H), 15:00

Sun 14 Sep: Man City (A), 16:30
Sat 20 Sep: Chelsea (H), 17:30
Sat 27 Sep: Brentford (H), 12:30

Sat 4 Oct: Sunderland (H), 15:00
Sun 19 Oct: Liverpool (A), 16:30
Sat 25 Oct: Brighton (H), 17:30
