FA Youth Cup tie set for Old Trafford on 9 Dec

Monday 24 November 2025 16:00Darren Fletcher has been handed his first FA Youth Cup assignment as Manchester Under-18s coach, following the third-round draw.The Reds are at home to Peterborough United, who beat Lincoln City and Boldmere St Michaels to reach this stage, with clubs from the Premier League and Championship now entering the competition. The tie has been scheduled to take place at Old Trafford on Tuesday 9 December at 19:00 GMT. Extra-time and penalties will be required to decide games after 90 minutes if the scores are level. Tickets are now on sale, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s.The Reds have lifted the trophy more times than any other club (11) and reached the semi-finals in 2024/25, losing to eventual winners Aston Villa in a penalty shootout.
