‘Expected to be out eight weeks’: Laurie Whitwell shares unfortunate injury news he’s hearing out of Carrington

Laurie Whitwell has confirmed that Toby Collyer could be sidelined for as long as two months while he recovers from a groin strain.The Athletic journalist took to X/Twitter last night to provide an update on the young midfielder’s situation, stating he is ‘expected to be out [for] eight weeks’. Ruben Amorim mentioned Toby Collyer today. Reported last week he has returned to Manchester United to undergo treatment on a calf injury, expected to be out eight weeks.
