Euro giants name their price for sensational Brazilian, it’s within United’s budget – report

Galatasaray have slapped a €40 million price tag on Manchester United target Gabriel Sara.

While most of United’s summer plans have been centred on buying attackers, the midfield is an area Ruben Amorim would also ideally improve.

The Red Devils have been linked with Wilfred Ndidi, Lucien Agoumé and more recently with Brazilian Gabriel Sara.

It was reported a couple of weeks ago that United had entered the race for the midfielder but the Galatasaray president claimed that Sara would remain part of their squad amidst interest.

Turkish outlet Fotomac take the story in a different direction and have reported that Galatasaray have set their price at €40 million.

It has been stated that the Turkish champions have “opened the door for the Brazilian star, who the Premier League team is after” for the aforementioned price.

Aston Villa want the midfielder and are said to have made him a part of their summer preparations.

Manager, Unai Emery, has described Sara as “magical’ and his priority in the midfield.” However, a potential spanner in the works for the Villans is that “Inter Milan and Manchester United are also monitoring Sara’s situation.”

Although neither Inter or United have made an official bid, Villa hope that they can “gain an advantage with an early move. They are hopeful that the talks will progress quickly.”

After Villa proposed around €20 million, which Galatasaray rejected but they have opened the door at €40 million.

There is currently a big difference in valuation but negotiations are continuing for him.

Should United wish to make a move for Sara, his price tag could well be within reach for Amorim’s men.

The 26 year old played a total of 45 games last season, scoring two goals and providing 10 assists for his high-flying team.

Grew up pretending to be Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the back garden, with little success.
