Young Manchester United forward Ethan Ennis has secured a season-long loan move to Fleetwood Town.
The 20-year-old had begun this season strongly with our Under-21s side, netting twice in as many games to continue the strong form he showed last time out.
Having been one of the team’s stand-out players in the first half of the 2024/25 campaign, Ennis earned a January move to Doncaster Rovers, where he became part of a League Two promotion-winning side.
Ennis enjoyed a fruitful spell with Doncaster Rovers in League Two last season.
He now returns to the division with Fleetwood, seeking to continue his strong development.
Ennis joined United from Liverpool in 2021 and found brilliant goalscoring form at the end of his first season, becoming a part of that season’s FA Youth Cup-winning squad. Progressing into the U21s, he began to earn first-team opportunities in friendly fixtures last summer, before his first loan move away.
