Patrick Dorgu has been allocated his shirt number at Manchester United.
The wing-back has completed his transfer from Lecce, ahead of Monday night’s deadline, and is to be paraded on the pitch before kick-off against Crystal Palace, alongside fellow new recruit Ayden Heaven.
Patrick is to wear the number 13 for his new club as he prepares to integrate with the group for training at Carrington next week.
The Denmark international follows in the footsteps of the likes of Ji-sung Park, Brian McClair and John Curtis, who have previously been allocated that position in the squad.
Goalkeeper Lee Grant was the last to have it, during the 2021/22 season.
Dorgu has worn the no.13 ever since his time with Midtjylland and it had been his current number at Lecce. The 20-year-old has also played in it for Denmark but appeared in no.5 and no.15 as well for his country.
You can customise shirts at the United Store and take advantage of a 40 per cent discount on all home jerseys.
