Manchester United are set to finally secure the signing of Benjamin Sesko, much to the despair of Newcastle United.
According to The Athletic, Man United are closing in to hire the services of Sesko even though Newcastle United have submitted a higher bid to RB Leipzig.

The media outlet have mentioned that the Magpies submitted a bid as high as €82.5m plus €2.5m, which was accepted by the German club.
On the other hand, the Old Trafford outfit have tabled an offer worth €75m plus €10m for the £95,000 a week striker.
However, Sesko has made it clear that he wants to move to Man United and all the interested parties have been made aware of his decision.
The 20-time English champions now need to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig over a fee and The Athletic state that things are moving in that direction.
Ideally, the Bundesliga side will demand from United the €82.5m plus €2.5m fee they have agreed to sell the player to Newcastle.
Both Man United and NUFC have faced consistent failures in their pursuit to reinforce the No.9 position this summer.
The two Premier League clubs were interested in the likes of Delap and Ekitike, but the former chose to join Chelsea and the latter decided to move to Anfield.
Moreover, the Red Devils even failed to convince Viktor Gyokeres, to move to Old Trafford and the Swede opted to secure a transfer to the Emirates from Sporting CP.
Now, it looks highly likely that their search for a new CF will be completed with the acquisition of Benjamin Sesko.
Newcastle United will have to look elsewhere to reinforce their strike-force. There will be no need for that this summer, if they can somehow hold on to Alexander Isak, who is pressing to join Liverpool.
