Confirmed United XI vs Wolves: Zirkzee starts, Chido Obi on the bench

Joshua Zirkzee starts tonight as Manchester United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at Old Trafford. Zirkzee comes in for Mason Mount, who picked up an injury last time out in the 1-0 victory over Newcastle. Head coach Ruben Amorim has once again opted to play four at the back. Defence Senne Lammens is in goal. The back four is unchanged, with Diogo Dalot at right back, Ayden Heaven and Lisandro Martinez the centre-backs and Luke Shaw at left-back. Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt are still injured, while Noussair Mazraoui is at Afcon. Midfield and attack Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro are the twin defensive midfielders. Up front, Sunday’s hero Patrick Dorgu is on the right wing, Matheus Cunha on the left and Zirkzee will be in the hole behind Ben Sesko. Amad and Bryan Mbeumo are also still at Afcon. Substitutes A youthful substitutes’ bench includes Altay Bayindir, Tyler Fredricson, Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Jack Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Bendito Mantato, Shea Lacey and Chido Obi. Obi’s return to the squad is a surprise after Amorim name-dropped him as struggling to get into the Under 21s just a couple of weeks ago. Kick-off is at 8.15pm. Depending on other results, a win could take United into fourth place in the Premier League.
