Confirmed United XI vs Arsenal: Bayindir, Mainoo, Garnacho start, Rashford again not in squad

Altay Bayindir starts in goal for Manchester United today as they start their defence of the FA Cup with a difficult away tie against Arsenal.

It will be his second FA Cup appearance for the Red Devils, having made his debut against Newport County last season under Erik ten Hag.

The back three are Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez.

Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw are all out injured.

Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui are the wing backs as usual, with Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo in central midfield.

Up front, Rasmus Hojlund leads the line, supported by Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho.

Amad is left out of the starting XI, having been struggling with a knock during the week, but is fit enough to be on the bench.

There are therefore just two changes from the side that performed so well against Liverpool in their previous fixture.

Mason Mount is still injured and Marcus Rashford has once again been omitted from the squad.

On the substitutes bench with Amad are Andre Onana, Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Josh Zirkzee, Antony and Toby Collyer.

Kick-off at the Emirates is at 3pm GMT. If the match is all square after 90 minutes, extra time and penalties will take place.
