CL club aware United are chasing their 22-yo star, he will leave for “huge transfer fee” – report

Manchester United have joined the list of clubs tracking Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown. Under Ruben Amorim, United have largely done well in the transfer market, signing technically secure and athletic players. However, the Portuguese tactician’s first signing at Old Trafford is yet to fully win over everyone. In January, United struck an agreement with Serie A side Lecee to sign Patrick Dorgu in a deal worth around €30 million. Patrick Dorgu struggling going forward Despite his relative inexperience, the 21-year-old Dane has been handed a very crucial role in Amorim’s setup, which relies on its wing-backs to create width in the final third and numerical superiority in midfield when United play long. Dorgu has the physicality to get up and down the flank, he is defensively aware, and gets in the box frequently. However, his underwhelming decision making and technical ability foil several attacks. In 31 appearances for United, the Denmark international has just two assists to his name.  A report in Germany suggests Ineos have set their sights on a left-sided full-back, who is more experienced and well-rounded than Dorgu. Man United admire Nathaniel Brown According to Bild (via Sport Witness), United are among the admirers of Nathaniel Brown, whose reputation has rapidly skyrocketed since joining Eintracht in 2024. It is claimed United have Brown “on their radar”. Arsenal and Manchester City are also following the 22-year-old. The Germany international moved to Frankfurt from 1. FC Nürnberg for just €3m last year. He is now one of their most valued players, having been directly involved in 14 goals in 48 appearances.  Brown primarily plays as a left-back but he is equally effective as a wing-back. Eintracht are well aware of his potential and quality and expect him to leave for a “huge transfer fee”. It is claimed the Bundesliga outfit know of United’s interest in Brown, and the figures at the club believe the technically gifted star is worth at least the €63.5m Chelsea spent to secure the services of Marc Cucurella.
