Three fresh surprise destinations have emerged for Manchester United midfielder Casemiro amid his ongoing resurgence. Casemiro revived Casemiro is currently in fantastic form for both club and country. Having clawed his way back into the United side, Casemiro now looks virtually undroppable under Ruben Amorim, who has repeatedly praised his transformative influence. Casemiro has been key during United’s unbeaten streak, scoring in games against Brighton and Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest. His impact has been made even more noticeable by how United always seem to collapse whenever he is taken off. A few weeks ago, it looked like an Old Trafford exit was guaranteed for Casemiro but there have since been suggestions that United are open to extending his stay, albeit on significantly reduced terms. The 33-year-old’s terms expire at the end of the season. United have an option of triggering a one-year extension clause but they’re not looking to do this on his current £350,000 per week salary. According to CaughtOffside, there are several clubs keeping tabs on Casemiro’s situation. Saudi Pro League clubs have him back on their radar but there are three new parties that have entered the fray – MLS franchises and two unnamed Premier League outfits. Three new destinations CaughtOffside claim, “Casemiro, currently one of the highest earners at Old Trafford, must accept a substantial wage reduction if he hopes to stay. This hesitation has opened the door for outside interest. Saudi Arabian clubs, including Al-Nassr, are preparing enormous salary packages to lure the 33-year-old.” “MLS franchises have also entered the conversation, believing Casemiro’s global profile and elite pedigree could transform their midfield and marketing appeal.” “Surprisingly, sources indicate that two Premier League sides are quietly monitoring his situation, waiting to see whether United trigger the extension or choose to let him walk.” However, it’s understood that Casemiro’s preference is to remain at United. The five-time Champions League winner is settled in Manchester with his family and loves the city. It will all come down to the numbers and whether an agreement with United can be struck.
