Fiorentina striker Moise Kean is reportedly keen to make the move to Manchester United and his representatives have offered him to the club.
United are looking to bring in a new striker as part of their push to strengthen their attack after a goal-shy 2024/25 campaign.
Having missed out on first-choice target Liam Delap, who opted for a move to Chelsea instead, United have been forced to cast a wider net and Kean has emerged as a player of interest to the club.
A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United have been making frequent checks on Cunha ahead of a potential swoop this summer. But the Red Devils are not alone in their admiration for Kean. He is also on the radar of Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Qadsiah, who are believed to have made him a lucrative offer.
Keane’s release clause is set at €52 million, meaning that’s the fee it would take to sign him.
The 25-year-old previously had a spell in England with Everton, joining the club in 2019. Unfortunately, his time at Goodison Park didn’t go to plan, as he spent more time out on loan than playing for the Toffees during a disappointing four-year stay.
He managed just four goals in 37 appearances for Everton, which ultimately led to him rejoining Juventus permanently in 2023 after an initial two-year loan. Now at Fiorentina, Kean has left his Everton struggles behind and revived his career.
Fiorentina snapped up the Italian for only £11m, a fee that’s looking like a steal after he netted 25 goals in 44 appearances in his first season with La Viola.
His performances and goal contributions helped Fiorentina reach the Conference League semis and attain a sixth-placed Serie A finish.
It seems Kean feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League, with a new report claiming he’s keen on a move to United.
According to Stretty News, the Vercelli-born star is “open to making the switch” to Old Trafford. So much so that his representatives have offered him to United in the hope that Ruben Amorim’s side are interested.
In terms of interest from Saudi Arabia, it’s understood that Kean’s priority is to remain in Europe at this stage of his career.
Kean certainly represents an intriguing option for United. Beyond his eye for goal, he offers blistering pace and strength, combined with flair and impressive technical ability.
