Biancheri agrees loan to Rotherham United

Monday 02 February 2026 19:30Gabriele Biancheri has agreed his first loan move away from Manchester United.The Wales Under-21 international will gain experience with Rotherham United, for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. Biancheri, 19, signed for us from Cardiff City in February 2023, and scored on his debut for our Under-18s side later in the campaign.Biancheri celebrates scoring against Borussia Dortmund at Old Trafford.He was a key member of Adam Lawrence’s side in the 2023/24 term, scoring 17 goals in 27 games, as the young Reds won the Under-18 Premier League and Premier League Cup. Biancheri was a regular at both U18 and U21 levels in 2024/25, netting 15 goals in 36 league appearances. He was also an important part of our FA Youth Cup side as they reached the semi-final, scoring a third-round hat-trick against Coventry City.The goals have continued to flow for Gabe this year, but he will now take the next step and test himself in senior football, with the Millers. Rotherham currently sit 20th in League One and also have United loanee Dan Gore on their books.
