Amorim names team to face Hammers

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United team to face West Ham United at Old Trafford has been announced.

The Reds are looking to end a run of six winless games in the Premier League, on the back of the brilliant Europa League semi-final victory over Athletic Club on Thursday night.

West Ham would go above us with three points from the 14:15 kick-off so it is important Amorim’s men put on a performance in the Manchester sunshine.

With the big game against Tottenham Hotspuir on 21 May obviously in our head coach’s thinking, he has made six changes for the visit of the Hammers.

Altay Bayindir starts in goal, in place of Andre Onana, who is not in the matchday squad. Luke Shaw comes into defence, with Amad and Harry Amass likely to operate as wing-backs.

Noussair Mazraoui moves into the backline, as a result, while Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount, both impressive as substitutes last time out, replace Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho.

Mount makes his first Old Trafford start since the win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League in November.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka makes his first return to the Theatre of Dreams since leaving last summer.
