Manchester United’s final XI of the 2024/25 Premier League season has been confirmed.

Ruben Amorim has selected his side to take on Aston Villa at Old Trafford, with the action kicking off at 16:00 BST, the same time as all the other fixtures in the division up and down the country.

As the Reds look to lift morale in the wake of the Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur in midweek, the boss has made three changes to his line-up.

Altay Bayindir replaces Andre Onana, who is not in the squad, with Victor Lindelof and Ayden Heaven drafted into defence, instead of Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw. Heaven makes his first start since our last league win, over Leicester City, in mid-March.

The rest of the side remains the same but Alejandro Garnacho is not on the bench, youngster Chido Obi is one of the attacking options

Shaw and Yoro are “managing foot problems”, while the boss said he was keen to give Bayindir another game in goal.

In terms of Garnacho, he told TNT Sports: “Garnacho is a Manchester United player that is not in the squad today, but he continues to be a Manchester United player.”

There is no Marcus Rashford for the visitors, as he is ineligible due to his loan move, and has been injured, of late, in any case. Youri Tielemans is only fit enough to make the bench, where he is joined by Jacob Ramsey, who is back from a ban.

THE TEAMS

United: Bayindir; Lindelof, Maguire, Heaven; Mazraoui, Casemiro, Fernandes (c), Dorgu; Amad, Mount; Hojlund.

Substitutes: Heaton, Dalot, Evans, Fredricson, Collyer, Eriksen, Mainoo, Ugarte, Obi.

Aston Villa: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Maatsen; Onana, Kamara; McGinn, Asensio, Rogers; Watkins.

Substitutes: Olsen, Digne, Garcia, Mings, Barkley, Ramsey, Tielemans, Bailey, Malen.
