How does one bright young Manchester United forward describe another? We found out in our exclusive interview with Amad and Alejandro Garnacho, and their answers were pretty special.
Amad thinks his good friend has the ability to become one of the very best players in the world.
The pair were talking together while on a special visit to one of our Foundation-supported schools in Moss Side.
Asked to describe each other’s ability and potential, the Ivorian told his team-mate: “Don’t make me cry!”

AMAD x GARNACHO EXCLUSIVE | Our two young stars talk learning and bright futures on a special day back at school…
Garnacho went first, offering analysis of Amad’s game from his unique perspective.
“I think everyone knows Amad is a great player,” Garna says.
“But also you can see when a player with good quality like Amad plays with confidence, I think it’s the most important thing to play like you are.
“It’s incredible, and it’s helped us a lot in a difficult moment. Amad is one of the ones trying to help and he’s doing it every time. I’m happy for him because last season was difficult for him but now he’s showing what he can do. It’s incredible and I’m happy for him.”
A beaming Amad went next.
“Garna is a good, young player doing very, very good with this club,” he said of the recent Puskas Award recipient.
“I think he’s already achieved a lot of things with the club, and he has to achieve a lot of things. I hope we can do it together.

“He’s a player who’s trying to do his best every time in the game, he’s very focused in his life. He wants to be the best. You can see it in every game. This is the mentality he’s trying to follow.
“I think Garna has the potential to be one of the best players in football. I just want to say he has to continue like this and me and him can win more trophies with this club.”
