Manchester United forward Amad’s standout start to 2025 has seen him win our men’s Player of the Month award for the third time this season.
Following successes in August and December, the Ivorian has now scooped January’s fan-voted prize, after another impressive run of performances.
Our no.16 earned a majority 55 per cent of all votes from supporters, to finish ahead of fellow nominees Lisandro Martinez (33 per cent) and Bruno Fernandes (12 per cent).
January was a month to remember for Amad, who carried his award-winning form over into the new year.
He got the ball rolling for 2025 by netting the crucial equaliser in our 2-2 draw away to Liverpool, and went onto tally up a further three goals in particularly special fashion.
That aforementioned treble all came on the same Old Trafford night, as the Ivorian scored his first United hat-trick in 12 second-half minutes, turning a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 win late in the home contest with Southampton.
It proved to be the highlight of his month, although the 22-year-old did impress across his seven January outings.
Fellow Player of the Month nominees Martinez and Fernandes had a strong case for the accolade too but were pipped by the man who is accumulating quite a collection of these awards in 2024/25 – his three being more than any other Red.
