We are now only a week away from seeing Manchester United back at Old Trafford, with Fiorentina providing the opposition.

Fans will be able to see Ruben Amorim’s recharged Reds, fresh from our stint in the US taking part in the Premier League Summer Series, as the team enjoy a final warm-up game in advance of the 2025/26 campaign getting under way.

The Snapdragon Cup is at stake with kick-off set for 12:45 BST next Saturday at the Theatre of Dreams.

Tickets are available to buy for the clash, which is also being shown live on MUTV, as the Serie A side play at Old Trafford for the first time since March 2000, when a Gabriel Batistuta thunderbolt was overturned by goals from Andy Cole, Roy Keane and Dwight Yorke.

Former Reds favourite David De Gea looks set to start in goal for the visitors and is certain to receive a warm ovation upon his return to the club he served so well between 2011 and 2023.

There could also be a chance to see new recruits Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon for the first time at their new home.

We will also be handing our new adidas home strip its first airing at M16, as the preparations really ramp up for the visit of Arsenal in our Premier League opener, on the following weekend.

United beat Real Betis 3-2 to win the Snapdragon Cup last term, with the game held in San Diego.

There will be a penalty shootout to decide who lifts the trophy this time around, if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
