With several senior stars on extended break following their World Cup exertions, there are multiple spots up for grabs for Carrington’s finest. Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui can play in that position, but both are far more adept on the opposite flank. Harry Amass desperate to impress He is likely to earn minutes against Rosenborg as well, but with his contract up in 2027, a serious call needs to be taken on his future. According to The Daily Mail, there is plenty of Championship interest in the London-born ace, but a final decision rests with Carrick. Should the head coach feel Patrick Dorgu can act as Shaw’s backup, a late move away from the club will be sanctioned.
