Manchester United Women have said goodbye to another long-term servant at the club. Hannah Blundell One player who will not be continuing with United beyond the summer is Hannah Blundell. The English fullback joined the club from Chelsea in 2021 after spending eight years there. She won four Women’s Super League trophies in West London. All in all, she played 95 times for United, scoring three goals and winning the FA Cup in 2024. She also won the 2022/23 United Women Players’ Player of the Year award. Blundell spent half of last season on loan at Everton, playing in 12 matches. Departure United’s official website has announced, “Manchester United Women can confirm that defender Hannah Blundell has now left the club, upon the expiration of her contract.” Leah Galton also played her final game for the club last season as she departs as a free agent, with United’s squad overhaul continuing. The team signed off, “everyone at the club would like to thank Hannah and Leah for their contributions to Manchester United.
