The 25-year-old has suffered FOUR separate hamstring injuries that have kept him on the sidelines over the last three seasons. It is true that van de Ven’s fitness has improved markedly this campaign, but that can be attributed to Spurs shifting from a high line to a deeper low block under Thomas Frank.
