United saddened by death of Eamonn Boylan OBE

byCommunications DepartmentThursday 02 April 2026 16:17Everybody at Manchester United is saddened to learn of the passing of Eamonn Boylan OBE.A widely respected public servant and former Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Eamonn was also a lifelong Manchester United supporter and dedicated season ticket holder. Eamonn made a significant contribution to our future through his role on the Old Trafford Regeneration Task Force, helping to shape the initial feasibility work exploring a new stadium as a catalyst for social and economic renewal in the surrounding area.
