REPORTS: Man United ‘Reach Agreement’ To Complete First Summer Transfer Deal

BACK Dylan Oakley Feb 27th 2026 Man United have reportedly reached their first agreement for a summer transfer deal even though we’re only in February.  Man United manager Michael Carrick is currently working for the Red Devils to finish in the Champions League spots and get the Red Devils back into Europe’s top competition for next season. So far, Carrick has done an incredible job. Manchester United’s 1-0 win against Everton was their fifth win in six games under Carrick, and they now sit fourth in the Premier League table, just three points away from Aston Villa in third place. If Carrick does stay at United, the club will need to back him in the transfer market ahead of a Champions League campaign in the summer. It is understood they have already made their first move. Man United reach agreement to sell Bayindir According to reports in Turkey, Man United have reached an agreement for their first deal of the summer transfer window, as they have reportedly agreed to sell goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to Besiktas ahead of the window opening in July. Turkish media outlet Fanatik reports that Besiktas and Man United have reached an agreement including a £4.3m transfer fee for the Turkish goalkeeper. He is set to move as soon as the window opens in the summer. Bayindir started this season as the first-choice keeper for United after Andre Onana left on loan to join Trabzonspor in the summer. However, the Red Devils signed Senne Lammens, and so, Bayindir quickly became the second-choice option at Old Trafford and has made limited appearances since. So far this season, the 27-year-old has made six appearances for United, all coming in the Premier League before Lammens was integrated into the team. He conceded 11 goals in those six games and failed to keep a clean sheet, in what proved to be some underwhelming performances. Bayindir has been at Old Trafford since 2023, when the Red Devils signed him from Fenerbahce for £4.3m. Click here to see Man United’s latest injury news.
