BACK David Tully Feb 28th 2026 West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen is “very open” to leaving the London Stadium, with Man Utd and Tottenham both keeping close tabs on his situation, according to reports. TEAMtalk claims that the Red Devils “could target” the England international if he does seek a move at the end of the season. Bowen is currently committed to keeping the Hammers in the Premier League, but things could change if the London club are relegated. The 29-year-old does have over four years left on his contract that he signed back in 2023, but his commitment would be seriously tested were his current side to lose their top-flight status. Bowen’s price tag could drop The forward’s current market value stands at around €60m (£52m), but his asking price would be much lower if West Ham do end up in the Championship. Of course, there is no certainty at this stage that Bowen’s team will be relegated. Their form has dramatically improved over the last two months, and heading into this weekend’s action, they are just two points from safety. A lot can still happen between now and the final game in May, but it does seem like the winger’s signature could potentially be up for grabs. Man Utd are not short of options on the right flank One important factor that would count against United making an offer for Bowen is the presence of Bryan Mbeumo, Amad and Patrick Dorgu in the first-team squad. All three players are left-footed and favour the right wing, just like Bowen. While Mbeumo has been used centrally more often than not by Michael Carrick, it doesn’t mean he can’t be used out wide too. Most observers expect the Red Devils to recruit another player for the left flank this summer, making any offer for Bowen a lot less likely. Want more news on Man Utd?
