Premier League 2 game at Leeds postponedFriday 13 February 2026 09:40Manchester United’s Premier League 2 fixture at Leeds United has been postponed. The game was initially due to be played at York City’s LNER Stadium on Friday, at 19:00 GMT, but was switched to Thorp Arch, Leeds’ training ground near Wetherby, with a new 13:00 GMT start time. However, after a morning pitch inspection, it has been called off and must be rearranged for a later date. The surface was deemed unplayable, due to the persistent weather conditions, and an update will be relayed in due course. There will be some frustration for Adam Lawrence and his side, who would have gone back top of the Premier League 2 table with any positive result, with other matches taking place in the evening. The Under-21s are not back in action until an away clash at Leicester City on Monday 23 February, the same night the first team are at Everton. However, the Under-18s have a Manchester derby against City on Saturday, live on MUTV, before a big FA Youth Cup tie at Oxford United on Wednesday. The much-anticipated encounter for Darren Fletcher’s team is also being shown live on MUTV.Recommended:Scanlon nets for Swindon VideoScanlon nets for SwindonJames Scanlon opened his account for Swindon Town on Saturday, finishing with style against Oldham Athletic…Friday 13 February 2026 09:40Back to Top
