Wheatley secures fresh loan moveMonday 02 February 2026 14:57Ethan Wheatley is to spend the rest of the 2025/26 season on loan at League One side Bradford City. The Manchester United striker returned from a similar spell with Northampton Town in January and has agreed a fresh switch, away from Old Trafford. It is the third temporary move of Wheatley’s career, after he also spent time at Walsall, last term. After showing his potential at League One level already with Northampton, the agreement with Bradford offers fresh challenges to the England Under-20 international. The Bantams are currently fifth in the table and chasing back-to-back promotions, which would be an excellent achievement.Bradford boss Graham Alexander has already been active in the market during the winter window, snapping up Newcastle United duo Harrison Ashby and Joe White, Kayden Jackson of Derby County and Wrexham striker Paul Mullin. The West Yorkshire outfit are away to Luton Town on Saturday, in an early kick-off. Best of luck to Ethan for the remainder of the campaign!Recommended:Monday 02 February 2026 14:57Back to Top
