Marcus Rashford Rashford played the final 45 minutes of FC Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Elche CF. The Catalans were 2-1 up at half-time but missed a plethora of chances. Rashford was the next to be guilty as he raced through one-on-one, but his poor shot drifted well wide of the goal. Just moments later, he got his reward when the ball bounced up kindly and he fired in from close range for his tenth goal of the season in all competitions. He also had one key pass in the match and completed 89% of his attempts. He also won both his ground duels. He had an impressive five shots on goal, with two hitting the target, but he could not find the back of the net. Hojlund was denied from close range by former Manchester United keeper David de Gea, then tried to backheel the ball into the net, but his effort was well blocked by the Florence side’s defence. He also completed one dribble and one key pass. Hojlund also contributed defensively, winning a total of six duels in the match. Dan Gore There was disappointment for Gore as he was substituted off with an injury in Rotherham United’s 4-0 win over Exeter City. He completed 91% of his passes and won 100% of his tackles and ground duels whilst he was on the pitch. Gore left the pitch after 40 minutes clutching his shoulder, and Manchester United and Rotherham will both be hoping the injury is nothing too serious. Ethan Ennis Ennis had a rare disappointing afternoon in Fleetwood Town’s 1-2 defeat to Notts County. He failed to find a teammate with any of his eight cross attempts. He also only completed 68% of his passes. Ennis was dangerous on the ball, though, completing two of his three dribble attempts. Jack Moorhouse The Irish midfielder played the final 22 minutes of Leyton Orient’s 0-1 loss to Port Vale. He completed 82% of his passes and had one shot on goal. Moorhouse was also able to carry the ball upfield on one occasion. Enzo Kana-Biyik He played the final 12 minutes of FC Lausanne’s 1-2 defeat to Winterthur in the Swiss League. The young forward had one shot that hit the target, but he could not find a late equaliser for his side.
