Hinata Miyazawa new deal There have also been reports in recent days that United are keen to tie down some important players to new contracts, and there were rumours Miyazawa was one of these names. Fans got the confirmation they were looking for when, earlier today, the club’s official website confirmed the news. The site reported, “Hinata Miyazawa has signed a new contract with Manchester United which will see her stay at the club until June 2029.” Commenting on her new deal, the Japanese international stated, “I am really enjoying playing football at Manchester United and I am really happy to be continuing my journey here.” Matt Johnson, the Director of Women’s Football, added, “we are really excited to have Hinata extend her time at Manchester United.” He continued, “she has become a critical component to the way we play. Nonetheless, this is the first campaign in which she has played regularly in the first team and found a concrete role in the centre of Marc Skinner’s midfield. In total, she has played 67 times for the Red Devils, scoring three goals. She has also represented Japan 53 times, scoring nine goals during her international career.
