Official: United Women announce signing of 23-yo defender as early January transfer window coup

Manchester United have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Hanna Lundkvist, who joins the club as a free agent. The 23-year-old was a free agent after leaving San Diego Wave at the end of the 2025 National Women’s Soccer League season. Lundkvist has also represented Atletico Madrid, Hammarby and AIK in her nation. She has been capped 17 times by Sweden.
