Jadon Sancho has had to endure another miserable spell out on loan, this time at Premier League rivals Aston Villa. Last season, Manchester United thought they had finally got rid of the problem star when Chelsea agreed a loan with an obligation. However, attitude issues, coupled with inconsistent form on the pitch as well as the Englishman’s wage demands, meant the Blues opted to pay a penalty to avoid signing the 25-year-old. Cut to this season, and the England international is yet to start a Premier League game for the Villans. In fact, he has accrued 127 minutes in the league so far and won’t be able to add to that tally against the 20-time English league champions. Jadon Sancho: another horror loan He has registered a grand total of 0 goals and assists, and while Unai Emery still seems to be backing the United loanee to come good, intermediaries are hoping to find him a new temporary home. As per Teamtalk, former club Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco, and Como have all been offered the chance to sign the attacker in January. The Red Devils have no intention of bringing him back to Old Trafford, nor offer him a contract extension. “Aston Villa insist that Jadon Sancho will be finishing the season with the club, despite intermediaries looking at options elsewhere, we can confirm. Three clubs offered Jadon Sancho “United, for their part, have no intention of bringing Sancho back, and while sources insist there is no recall option – so Villa can’t just cancel the move – if another club were willing to take him, then a move could be possible as he has only played for one club this season. “However, Villa are insistent that they are looking to keep Sancho and try and get the best out of him heading into 2026. “Sources have told us that other clubs have been spoken to by intermediaries as they look for possible options for the 23-times capped England international in the new year. United should just get rid “Former club Borussia Dortmund are one of those that still hugely admire Sancho, and they could be open to a deal – if the price is right. In addition, we are told that Ligue 1 side Monaco and ambitious Serie A outfit Como have been approached.” The sooner this saga comes to a close the better. Jadon Sancho has proven to be one of the worst buys in the club’s history, and getting rid of him, even if on a free, will be a welcome move.
