Antoine Semenyo to Man United? January Transfer Prediction Amid Liverpool and Man City Interest

BACK Dylan Oakley Dec 19th 2025 Man United have been linked to signing Antoine Semenyo in the January transfer window alongside Man City and Liverpool.  The Red Devils head into their next game against Aston Villa in decent recent form; however, their opponents have also been incredible recently. Villa have won their last nine games, including victories against Arsenal, Brighton and West Ham. Ruben Amorim will be wary of Sunday’s opponents, and especially could be concerned about his defence, as they conceded four goals in their last game against Bournemouth. One of the players who shone in that game was Cherries star Antoine Semenyo. The winger has been linked to Manchester United, Man City and Liverpool heading into the January transfer window, as he has a £65m release clause, but where is his most likely landing spot in the window if he leaves the Vitality Stadium? Semenyo predicted to go to Liverpool over Man United and Man City Ahead of the likely Semenyo saga in the January transfer window, we decided to ask ChatGPT AI to predict where the Bournemouth winger will move to based on recent reports, and educated guesswork – this is what it said… AI predicted that the most likely destination will be Liverpool as the Reds are looking to sign a long-term replacement for Mo Salah in the next couple of windows. It did say that Man City is the second-most-likely destination for the Ghana international as they have opened talks with Semenyo, and City are never shy to spend big in the January window. Man United were predicted to be the third most likely team to sign Semenyo, but they are ‘less likely’ to get Semenyo because they don’t have as much of a strong need in attacking areas, because they signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in the summer.
