BACK David Tully Nov 30th 2025 Man Utd are “closely” monitoring the progress of Santos winger Robinho Jr, according to reports in the Brazilian media Diario Do Peixe claim that the Red Devils have sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old, who is the son of the former Manchester City and Real Madrid player. Robinho Jr has only made 13 senior appearances for Santos so far, but it appears Ruben Amorim’s side are already seriously contemplating a bid for the youngster. It is suggested by Diario Do Peixe that an offer could be lodged before “the end of 2025”, although there are no guarantees at this stage. There will be competition for Robinho Jr Earlier this year, it was reported that both Liverpool and Chelsea were keeping an eye on the teenager. However, it is believed that United’s main rivals for Robinho’s signature could come from the likes of Inter Milan, Galatasaray and potentially Espanyol. The interest would not necessarily be encouraged by Santos, but due to their financial situation, they are expected to consider any proposals for the winger in order to balance the books.
