PL club slap £34m price tag on star desperate to join United – report

Crystal Palace have reportedly set their asking price for Daniel Munoz, with Manchester United confirmed as one his preferred destinations. Munoz has big plans Since joining Palace from Genk in 2024, Munoz has emerged as one of the best and most consistent full-backs in the Premier League. He has adapted to life in the Premier League with ease, impressing with his aggressive defending and attacking contributions. In 12 top-flight appearances this term, Munoz has registered two goals and as many assists. He notched 10 goals and assists last season. Earlier this month, Munoz revealed that he harbours ambitions of playing for a big club. He explained that he has “big dreams” and is working on realising them. He named United alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona as the clubs he’d love to join in the future. A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United are unlikely to make a move for Munoz in January. However, with the Red Devils expected to explore the market for reinforcements at right-wing-back, the 29-year-old may yet pop up on their radar, especially because he has expressed a clear desire to join. It helps that Munoz has already proven himself in the Premier League and is already familiar with Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system, as it is the same one utilised by Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park. According to Bolavip, Palace value Munoz at €40 million (£34 million). Palace set Munoz price Bolavip contend that Munoz is “close to leaving” Palace as he has received multiple offers. He is expected to demand a significant pay rise from what he currently nets in South London. The report claims that Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are queueing up for the defender’s signature. “Munoz’s salary is not the only investment the club that wants him must make, as Crystal Palace will ask for no less than 40 million for their star player and key figure, in addition to someone already established in England.” Palace are under no pressure to sell, Munoz’s contract runs until 2028 and there is an option to extend his stay by an additional 12 months.
