The left-back is keen to play competitive senior football, and with minutes in short supply at United, he is keen to leave on a temporary stint. “Diego León has chances of going out on loan in the next transfer window. He wants more minutes, a loan exit makes sense “The full-back doesn’t look favourable on getting minutes currently and wants to rack up minutes at another club,” the journalist wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Amorim currently prefers Diogo Dalot on the left, even though he has been a disaster. Patrick Dorgu is a more natural wingback, even though he remains a raw talent. Luke Shaw and Noussair Mazraoui can also play there. So it makes sense for Diego Leon to leave on loan in order to gain more experience. However, preferably he should join a team in England in the lower tiers so he can mature physically while also understanding what is required to succeed here.
