‘Don’t rule out…’: Man United identify relegation-threatened PL star as January option to reinforce ranks

They are eight points from safety, meaning, in a lot of people’s eyes, they’re as good as relegated.Gomes signed for Wolves in 2021 in a £15 million switch from Flamengo, and has since played an integral role at the heart of the team’s midfield.Having earned 10 Brazil caps since making his debut in March 2024, the 24-year-old will be well aware that moving to the English top flight aided his quest to break through to his nation’s senior setup.
