Recent reports suggest that the Englishman has a €65 million release clause in his contract, which can be triggered next summer. However, the report adds that Kane remains settled at the Allianz Arena and is not seeking a new challenge at present. Meanwhile, the Bavarians have no desire to let their prized asset leave. Kane’s contract expires in 2027, but in a shift from their renewal policy for players beyond the age of 30, the Bundesliga champions are already planning to offer him a new deal. The update will be a major blow for INEOS’ plans, and United may have to turn to alternative targets in 2026.
