Three WSL games selected for broadcast

Manchester United Women’s Barclays WSL games against Brighton and Hove Albion, Aston Villa and Manchester City have all been selected for TV broadcast.

Changes to our clash with Brighton had already been made public but we can now also confirm our encounter on November 2 with the Seagulls will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The midday kick-off is our first outing of the month and follows on from the UEFA Women’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid two weeks prior.

Next up will be our home game against Aston Villa, which will now take place at the Progress With Unity Stadium. This is also pencilled in for a midday start, as opposed to its original scheduled time of 12:30 GMT.

That too will be shown on Sky Sports’ respective channels and Marc Skinner’s side hold an impressive record against the Villans over recent years.

The final switch involvees our game against crosstown rivals Manchester City, with the fixture now taking place on Saturday 15 November, instead of the following day.

Kick-off will be 13:30 GMT at the Etihad Stadium and the game will be shown on BBC1.

United Women, of course, famously beat City 4-2 in last season’s WSL fixture at the Etihad, with Ella Toone scoring a brilliant hat-trick.
