Manchester United have loaned out another of their young stars.

Louis Jackson loan
The club’s official website has reported that “Manchester United defender Louis Jackson has secured a loan move for the rest of the 2025/26 season.”
The site continues that “the 19-year-old is joining Solihull Moors in the National League, in a bid to gain more senior experience.”
The club sign off stating, “everybody at United wishes Louis the very best of luck for the campaign, with Solihull next in action on Saturday, at home to Southend United.”
Previous experience
Jackson played his part in the 2022 FA Youth Cup victory over Nottingham Forest, starting the final at Old Trafford.
He has also trained with the first team and was on the bench for the FA Cup semi-final versus Coventry City in 2024 at Wembley.
Jackson has 43 appearances for the under-18s under his belt and he has played in the Premier League 2 side 18 times.
He has represented Scotland under-19s seven times and spent last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers.
Fantastic young talent
The Solihull Moors website have announced the transfer as well and stated, “Solihull Moors are delighted to announce the signing of Louis Jackson on loan from Manchester United for the 2025/26 season.”
Moors manager Matt Taylor is clearly very happy with his new defender according to his comments to the website.
Speaking to the site he claimed, “Louis is a fantastic young talent with real pedigree, and we’re thrilled to have him here at Solihull Moors.”
He added, “he’s already shown huge potential at Manchester United and on the international stage, and this loan gives him the opportunity to showcase his ability in men’s football week in, week out. We’re looking forward to working with him and seeing the impact he can have on the team this season.”
