Report – Clubs ready to move in late to sign £105,000 a week Man Utd star

Man Utd Zirkzee

Ruben Amorim seems to be managing Manchester United with a very clear vision of who his first-choice players are and who he doesn’t seem to fancy anymore. The Portuguese tactician has a clear pecking order in place.

This has been very evident in the way he has set the team up in the first two games of the season.

News – Report – Player prepared to agree £635,000 a week terms to secure Manchester United exit

The manager has not used Joshua Zirkzee or Kobbie Mainoo in either of the games and it is not very clear what the future holds for them.

Now, as per Caught Offside, Joshua Zirkzee has courted interest in the last few days of the summer transfer window. Clubs like PSV Eindhoven and Serie A giants Napoli are exploring a potential move for the Dutchman.

Zirkzee has been at Manchester United for around a season now. He took some time to adapt to the Premier League, but came into his own in the second half of the campaign as he adapted to Amorim’s setup.

The Dutch attacker was signed from Bologna. He earns around £105,000 a week on his current contract. PSV have suffered a blow with French striker Alassane Plea being ruled out until 2026. Zirkzee would be an ideal replacement.

Napoli have also suffered a similar issue, with Romelu Lukaku’s injury. The Belgian is ruled out for the foreseeable future. Zirkzee would be a good option, considering the fact that he has previously played in the Serie A.

The next few days should provide a clearer picture of what the future holds for Joshua Zirkzee. If he stays at Manchester United, he is bound to be an important part of Amorim’s plans over the course of the season.

Moving him on now, unless it comes at a significant financial benefit, doesn’t make sense for the Red Devils. Let’s wait and see how things play out.
