Manchester United have some clean-up work to do this summer. The Red Devils have made some good signings, but still have a number of players in the squad who are no longer in Ruben Amorim’s plans for the upcoming season.
Among the many players that belong to the list is Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentinian attacker was once touted to be the future of the attack at Old Trafford but he has fallen out-of-favor under Amorim and is now looking for a new club.

Interest in Garnacho has seemed plenty. The 21-year-old has been one of Man Utd’s better players in the last couple of seasons and it comes as no surprise to see other clubs wanting to take a bet on the South American this young in his career.
Now, as per The Athletic, Premier League rivals Chelsea are in direct talks with Manchester United over a potential transfer for Garnacho this summer. The player, on his part, has ruled out all other approaches in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea see Garnacho as the ideal option to provide competition to Jamie Bynoe-Gittens on the left wing.
Having recently signed him from Borussia Dortmund, they might want a player who can help him ease into the Premier League rigor. Moving to England as a youngster might often be a daunting proposition.
Garnacho has been in England for some time now. Without a doubt, he could directly start contributing to Enzo Maresca’s side.
Valued at just around £50million, it would be a very good signing from the Blues perspective, especially if he comes good.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Garnacho, but Man Utd will be keen to move him on as soon as possible. It would allow the club to focus attention on other positions. Only time will tell how things play out.
